These thick wooden supports promote the recognition of the 26 letters of the alphabet through stencils.

Children develop their tactile sensitivity and memorization of writing gestures.  They can classify consonants (in blue) and vowels (in red) according to color.
The activity can also be done with styluses (sold separately) for a complementary, tactile approach to letter recognition.
